Ok... I came to the city a looong time ago and have not managed to find my way back to the docks and my ship. -lol- I'm lost... to say the least. I will be the one in robes that looks determined, but happens to also be going in circles. If someone sees me in the home, can they please point me back in the direction of the Inn? If someone could also speak to Brandanon about settling up my bill with some of my remaining brews, on my ship, I would GREATLY appreciate it.
On a side note, I'll mention that I'm having some HUGE lag times in the room. Sometimes it can put me at five to ten posts behind everyone else. If anyone has any ideas on how I can remedy this, then I'll be in to drive you all nuts... uh... I mean to roleplay soon.
Technical details: Running Vista on a laptop with a 2gig processor and 2gig of ram. I've tried to use IE (I believe that it is version 7) and also Firefox. The lag exists in both of these. I've tried running with images off and on. Both result in the same lag. I run on dial-up (*grumbles and kicks the stuffin's outta it*) currently, but am on my way to a faster connection. (ETA of installation is still hinging upon the completion of my garage.) I've also tried all of the basics... I've cleaned out my cache, temp files, cookies, history, run virus scan... blah... blah... blah... all to no avail. If anyone has any ideas, please drop me an e-mail or leave me a private message here. I'll make it a point to check both daily.

Turn off avast.. lol.. or norton's.. or semantics (owned by norton's) as all of those anti-virus programs hate chatsites. If using either of them, and wishing to chat on one of the main sites, try AVG, which has a free version and is chatsite friendly.
