Ok I was thinking to add some spice and life to the room ..and give the room and the people here a chance to form a stronger bond communication ect....Is to have a Mamba (the people) strike Tetra..
Now sure it might be a little far fetched ..but with shipments of goods coming in on ships from Kar and elsewhere ..it could be plausable .
If this sounds good to people please let Me or people know and we can try formulating a storyline by either having a NPC Mamba come and have a few snacks -Laughs- And have perhaps the starting of the city Watch form up by a hunting party?
Just a Idea however

It sounds like a good idea to me. Do you think they'd eat vulo? [not the bird, either]...j/k.... ;D
If it's decided against the mamba people, maybe river pirates disguised as merchants? Not sure if that would be realisitic, but just tossing ideas into the pot.

I like the idea. And to branch off Trei's post about men fighting in the home, it could be easily done of two men team up to play as raiders mamba or pirates whatever, and the rest can fend them off, would be fun in that regard too, learning ot attack and defend during raids, cuz raids are fun!-lol-

Well traditionally Mamba are played by women ....I dont think there were Men Mamba ...I could be wrong ......But if the scenerio is done right ...It can result in anywhere from a good 3 to 4 months of intreque then the final fight of the Mamba and such all around good fun

They wouldn't. vulo isn't kosher.

Just a little research on the Mamba tribe for you if you decide to go in this direction: This excerpt taken from John Norman's World of Gor: www.worldofgor.com/ref/ref_reptiles.asp Mamba Word of the natives of Schendi that is used in reference to the river tharlarion found in their lands. (see river tharlarion) NOTE; The word 'mamba', according to Webster and other sources, is of Zulu origin and refers to any of several chiefly arboreal venomous green or black elapid snakes (genus Dendroaspis syn. Dendraspis) of sub-Saharan Africa. John Norman's use of this word varies significantly in that it pertains to a more crocodilian type of reptile. The word 'Mamba' in most of the river dialects does not refer to a venomous reptile as might be expected, given its meaning in English, but, interestingly, is applied rather generally to most types of predatory river tharlarion. The Mamba people were, so to speak, the Tharlarion people. The Mamba people ate human flesh. So, too, does the tharlarion. It is thus, doubtless, that the people obtained their name. ---Explorers of Gor, 44:393 -------------------------------------------------------------- So. As you can see it is not just females but an entire tribe of people that are named after a river tharlarion in thier native habitat. A plausible storyline could be put into place if you were so inclined to bring River Tharlarion here for import or export. Combined with man eating stow-aways.... an escape River Tharlarion could really wreak havoc on the docks. -shudders- If you need some more help with research let me know and I'll grab more quotes for you.

I had an ongoing RP that involved spies from Tyros attempting to map Port Kar.
Sample:
*It took my mind a few moments to decipher what my eyes had seen, a hand jutting upwards from the water, still burdened with rings and the swirl of the fabric of an expensive cloak that had caught on something deeper. This is what had caused the movement, the waters pressure to push the body onwards and the body's desire to move upwards, but it was weighted down. I had known this man to, but not as well as I had come to know the wine merchant Flaminius. Eyes glazed white stared at nothing and his mouth wide open in a final scream, here to was another that was rumored to be a spy from Tyros. I had followed him to a gambling establishment and had hidden in the small box of a yard convinced that somewhere in the conversation some important bit of information would be let loose. Like Flaminius, this mans wealth was left to rot with him and not even I was desperate enough to relieve him of it.*
As a thought, what is to say that there aren't spies in Tetrapoli attempting to do the same thing? Maps of any city could be important, especially for raids.
It even gives room members a chance to play "da bad guy" and aid and abet and or a chance to expnd RP to other rooms.
My two pennies...
